Feature Spotlight: Zoom Google Apps Integration
May 12, 2014 by Zoom

The video collaboration experience on Google Apps doesn’t just live on Hangouts. Zoom brings a new dimension to the Google Apps collaboration experience. Check out a few easy ways to use Zoom, one of the most popular Google App video collaboration platforms, to scale your business!

Single Sign-On with Google Account

You can start using Zoom with your existing Google or Gmail Account. Go to https://zoom.us/signin and select Login with Google.

Zoom supports IETF OAuth protocol so you can login securely from one or multiple Google Accounts. We also support Google two-step verification for an extra layer of security.

Meet Zoom Chrome Extension

With the Zoom Chrome extension, you can schedule Zoom cloud meetings directly from your Chrome browser or Google Calendar.

With the click of a button on your Chrome browser, you can start an instant meeting or schedule a future meeting. The meeting URL is automatically sent via your Google Calendar invitation so the attendee can join with a single click. If you have existing event in your Google Calendar, simply click Make it a Zoom Meeting.

Tip #1: You can choose to use your Personal Meeting ID for all meetings under Settings.

Google IM: Presence and Instant Meeting

Google IMOur integration with Google IM means you can see when your colleagues come online or go offline.

You can send an instant message or start an instant video or screen sharing meeting with a single click.

Supersize Your Collaboration Experience

Meet face-to-face with up to 100 of your Google contacts. They can join from mobile devices, tablets, laptops, desktops, H.323/SIP endpoints, ZoomPresence or by telephone.  You can even broadcast to 1000 view-only participants and record in MP4 format for archival.

You can even screen share documents, pictures and websites from your desktop, tablet or smart phones!

Start using Zoom today – you can sign up free – and download our Chrome extension!
