Last Friday April 22nd we hosted a live webinar case study featuring administrators and faculty from the University of San Francisco. First, we heard from John Bansavich, Adjunct Faculty and Director of Learning Technologies in the Center of Instruction and Technology at USF. John discussed the deployment and rapid adoption of Zoom at the university.
John details the variety of use cases for Zoom including; video conferencing others, sharing presentations, online teaching, connecting branch campus classrooms, student recruitment, virtual office hours, applicant interviews, and many more.
Then we dug deeper with Juli Maxworthy, Assistant Professor, Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice – Healthcare Systems Leadership, and Chair of the Health Leadership and Innovation Department. Juli talked about her experience as a doctoral educator using Zoom. She focused on the impact Zoom has on her students’ learning experiences and how to create a hybrid class, where Zoom is used for lectures but activities like debates happen in person.
Finally, Margeaux Holloway, Assistant to the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions, gave us a look at the use of Zoom among administrators at the school for meetings and collaboration.
Here is the complete webinar recording.
