Panel discussion: Video as a Service

Kicking off with some Zoom news, our own Head of Product Marketing, Nick Chong, will be participating on today’s panel “Video as a Service: Will Consumerization Carry the Day?” This panel, moderated by Ira Weinstein, Senior Analyst and Partner at Wainhouse Research, features four experts from video collaboration services discussing reasons for price differences between VCaaS services and identifying considerations for choosing a service.

Zoom Partner Announcements

We have many partners that help us better serve our customers, such as hardware providers that create a complete virtual meeting experience for you with speakerphones and cameras, and single sign-on (SSO) providers that improve your compliance and productivity. HuddleCamHD has released the HuddleCam Air, the world’s first wireless USB pan tilt zoom camera. You can see this “Zero-Latency” 1080p video conferencing camera and talk with it’s designer Matthew Davis onsite at booth 544. Davis will demo the HuddleCam Air with various services including Zoom.

Logitech is showcasing their new Logitech ConferenceCam Connect, an anytime, anywhere portable videoconferencing device at booth 1835. They will also demo the new Logitech PTZ Pro Camera, a premium USB-enabled HD 1080p PTZ video camera for use in conference rooms, education, healthcare and other professional environments.

Phoenix Audio Technologies is unveiling the Smart Spider at booth 1137. The Smart Spider offers flexibility of use in BYOD environments with your smartphone or tablet, or in large-scale conference rooms by daisy chaining to Spider Conference Phones.

Vaddio introduces the RoboSHOT 12 USB PTZ conferencing camera at booth 734. This camera offers USB 3.0 and IP (H.264) streaming, HDMI output and Tri-Synchronous Motion technology. Vaddio is also highlighting their AV Bridge MATRIX PRO, an AV room solution for USB/IP applications.
