This Holiday Season, We’re Grateful for 2019 and Thrilled to Deliver Future Happiness

Happy holidays! It’s been a big year for Zoom, and we’re so thankful for all of the people, milestones, and experiences that helped to make it one for the ages.

In 2019, Zoom had a successful IPO, released its Zoom Phone product, added over 300 improvements to the Zoom platform, and hosted the largest Zoomtopia to date with 2,500-plus attendants who heard from larger-than-life figures like Sir Richard Branson and former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino and got a firsthand look at the future of unified communications.

At Zoom, we are so thankful for these unique opportunities, and as the year comes to a close, we’re taking a look back at the things we’re most grateful for:

  • Our customers: When you sign up with us, you are placing your trust in our product and our team. Without that trust, we wouldn’t be able to innovate and deliver the groundbreaking features that make Zoom an industry leader, and your continued confidence and support are critical to everything we do.
  • Our communities: Zoom employees take part in dozens of community-based projects throughout the year, such as United Way food preparation events, “Green Team” clean-ups, and more. Zoom has offices across the country and all over the world, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to these communities.
  • Our teammates: At Zoom, our teammates provide each other with a network of support inside and outside the office, and that allows us to become the best version of ourselves. The support we get from our teammates and their unfailing desire to improve is what allows us to try bold new things and take our work to exciting new heights.
  • Our company: Zoom perpetually strives to deliver happiness to our customers and employees every day. This mentality has created a culture of caring that provides an optimal environment for personal growth and development, and we are all grateful to participate in that culture.

This culture of caring and gratitude starts from the top-down, with our CEO. “If you care about delivering happiness to others, you will not only be happier, but your happiness will also be sustainable,” said Zoom CEO Eric S. Yuan. “Being grateful is critical to delivering happiness and caring for others.”

As Zoom moves into the New Year, we extend the warmest thanks to our customers, our communities, our teammates, and our company for providing us with the challenge and the opportunity to provide the best communications experiences out there and to continuously deliver happiness.
