The Magic Quadrant. Sounds like a mystical realm, right? In fact, the Gartner Magic Quadrant looks at not-so-magical, very real major technology markets, examining the competing players and how they are positioned to serve customers in the long run. It is the culmination of extensive market research based on evaluation criteria that includes completeness of vision and ability to execute. The 2015 Magic Quadrant for the web conferencing industry evaluated fifteen vendors across a range of criteria.
So how did Zoom fare? Pretty great! Gartner positioned Zoom as Visionary in relation to other market services. According to Gartner, Visionaries like Zoom understand where the market is going or have a vision for changing market rules.
“We are proud that Gartner recognizes Zoom as a Visionary company in the Web Conferencing Magic Quadrant,” said Eric S. Yuan, our Founder and CEO. “Given Zoom’s record growth, with over 180,000 customer organizations, industry-leading customer satisfaction scores, and groundbreaking features like true mobile screen sharing and software-defined conference room system Zoom Rooms, we know that Zoom will continue to innovate in video and web conferencing, challenging legacy solutions.”
