Zoom’s Integration with Jira Service Desk Helps You Resolve Customer Issues Quickly

Jira Service Desk by Atlassian is used by teams of all sizes to deliver great customer service. When a customer has a complex problem or an agent receives a difficult request, having a face-to-face video meeting is crucial for a quicker resolution and better customer experience.

Atlassian and Zoom teamed up to bring our customers an important integration that allows agents to start a Zoom meeting with key stakeholders with the click of a button within the Jira Service Desk ticket. Zoom’s integration for Jira Service Desk helps agents get to the bottom of issues more quickly without having to switch between various tools to reach their stakeholders.

Once the meeting ends, the comment will be updated with the meeting summary. If the agent recorded the meeting, the link to the recording and transcript will also appear within the ticket.

Below are a few simple steps to get started:

  1. Download and install Zoom’s Jira Service Desk integration
  2. Click “Start meeting” or “Schedule meeting” at the bottom of your customer ticket
  3. You can customize meeting topic, date, timezone, duration, and more
  4. After the meeting, the summary and recording link will be posted as a comment in the ticket
