Zoom has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan with the Asia-Pacific Cloud Video Collaboration Provider of the Year Award at the 2019 Best Practices Awards. These annual awards honor and recognize organizations that continue to raise the bar on excellence in Asia-Pacific. This is the second year in a row Zoom has earned the award.
Zoom received the 2019 Asia-Pacific Cloud Video Collaboration Provider of the Year Award based on its superior leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development in Asia-Pacific markets. Zoom has made significant investments to expand its global footprint, particularly in Asia. The company opened its Japan office in 2018 and plans to double the staff to more than 50 by the end of 2019 to better serve its customers and partners in APAC. Zoom also has seen a significant increase in the number of users in Australia and New Zealand.

Nominated companies are then evaluated on a variety of market performance indicators, including revenue growth, market share, and growth in market share, and leadership in product innovation, marketing strategy, and business development strategy. The award categories are carefully reviewed each year to reflect the current market landscape and include new, emerging trends.

Baidya said it’s Zoom’s commitment to a consistent user experience is what differentiates the company in the thriving unified communications as a service (UCaaS) market.
