Zoom Wins rAVe Readers’ Choice Awards for Video Conferencing & Social Media
For the second year in a row, Zoom has won with the readers of rAVe! This year we have double the honor because we’ve won two awards: Favorite Video Conferencing Manufacturer and Favorite Manufacturer Social Media Presence.
rAVe is a popular online AV news publication, covering all things audio-visual, including video communications. Needless to say, their readers are well-versed in the world of conferencing and collaboration. Over 88,000 voters from the AV community weighed in.
rAVe prides itself in having an unbiased and authentic awards process, free of vendor influence. “These awards are truly representative of the AV industry’s favorites,” commented rAVe’s founder, Gary Kayye. “We will NEVER allow anyone to pay to enter these awards. We want these to be free from biases or financial-influence. The nominations came from the AV community from all over the world. The winners should be bragging about these wins more than any other as these are truly representative of the best-of-the-best in AV products, companies and technologies.”
“The AV community has spoken, and we are thrilled to be their favorite video conferencing and solution and favorite social media presence,” said Laura Padilla, head of BD and channels for Zoom. “We have worked hard to build a platform that AV professionals and their end users love. It comes down to reliability, simplicity, and innovation, and we’re gratified that rAVe’s readers see the Zoom difference.”
“Whether on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn, our social media approach is to engage our customers in authentic conversations, share their successes, and be a timely, truly helpful resource for them. In short, we’re here to deliver happiness. We’re proud that this has been recognized by the rAVe community,” said Aaron Lewis, social media and advocacy marketing manager for Zoom.
We congratulate our partners who also won rAVe awards: AVI Systems (Favorite AV Dealer), Avocor (Favorite Collaboration Board Manufacturer), Crestron (Favorite Manufacturer-Based Training Program, tie Favorite Video Product Manufacturer, Favorite AV-over-IP Product), Extron (Favorite Manufacturer Sales Support Team, Favorite Control / Signal Processing Manufacturer, tie Favorite Video Product Manufacturer), Intel (tie Favorite Collaboration Software Manufacturer for Unite), Logitech (Favorite Conferencing Product for MeetUp), NEC (Favorite Flat-Panel Display for P Series), Poly (Favorite Audio Conferencing Manufacturer), and Shure (Favorite Audio Product for MXA910).
